After this course you are able to design transformers of various varieties 5kVA-5000kVA upto 33kV Class ( ie 1KV,3.3kV, 6.6 KV, 11 KV, 22 KV, 33 KV ). You can design core, LV & HV windings(Spiral, Layer, Foil, Cross over,Helical etc), tank, oil, cooling calculations etc. You can calculate all performance parameters like Resistance, I2R Loss, Efficiency, weights , price etc. All fittings and accessories also you can decide on your own. Most of varieties that fall with in above Voltage and kVA range will be covered.
After this course you are able to design transformers of various varieties 5MVA-30MVA upto 66kV Class ( ie 33/11 or 66/11 KV like varieties ). You can design core, LV & HV windings(Disk, Helical, CTC, SepTap Winding), tank, oil, cooling calculations etc. You can calculate all performance parameters like Resistance, I2R Loss, Efficiency, weights , price etc. All fittings and accessories also you can decide on your own. Most of varieties that fall with in above Voltage and kVA range will be covered.
Basics will be covered
Transformers for renewable applications like solar will be covered. 2 Winding, 3 Winding , 4 Winding , 5 Winding transformers are covered. LV Voltage: 350V-1000V. HV Voltage: 11kV, 22kV, 33kV. Vector Group: Dyn11 or Ynd11 etc
